Imprimis Group was founded in September 1982, in Dallas, Texas, by Texas native Valerie Freeman. During the early 1980s, computers were becoming a valuable tool in the office, and there was a need for high-quality full-time and temporary personnel to operate this specialized equipment. Imprimis met the need by recruiting staff skilled in hardware and software applications. By offering training as new technologies became available, Imprimis continued to supply companies with employees proficient in the most current applications, as well as employees experienced in a variety of other administrative functions.
As the business environment changed, the company adapted and began to offer a wealth of staffing solutions. In June 1993, the name was changed to Imprimis, which means “in the first place.” And that's exactly how Imprimis wants its customers to think of us for quality staffing solutions.
Today, Imprimis provides companies with temporary, temporary to direct, part-time, full-time and direct hire employees who operate in a wide variety of positions.
